Daughters of the Heart of Mary (D.H.M.)
Its a religious society with pontifical right, founded in France, 1791, in times of revolution.

SPIRITUALITY
The spirituality of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary is Ignatian filiation, with own aspects, based on the inspiration and experience of our founders: Love for the Eucharist and adherence to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, as a continuous invitation to model our life according to their feelings. It is proper to our spirituality to love the Blessed Virgin, to honor her and to make her loved.
Four traits stand out:
a) The Heart of Jesus, fount of our cordiality.
b) Eucharistic and ecclesial communion.
c) Marian identity.
d) Ignatian Filiation.
GOSPEL'S TEXTS
Father Clorivière guides the spirituality of the Society in four Gospel verses:
*“Do whatever He tells you” (John 2:5).
*Behold your mother” (John 19:27).
*I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil” (John 17:15).
*I do not call you servants, but friends” (John 15:15).
OBJECTIVE
Inspired by the life of Mary and the first Christians, the Daughters of the Heart of Mary will form one heart and one soul. They will have as their goal the glory of God, the building of the Kingdom and will strive in all things to love and serve. (C3b)

Daughters of the Heart of Mary are called to “Form one heart and one soul”, by a deep union with Christ, an authentic fraternal life and a generous dedication to the service of the most needed, with the strength and energy of the rising Church.
CHARACTERISTICS
Since its origins, our Society has no habit or any external distinctive sign, which allows us to live inserted in all environments, being a cordial presence, like Mary, in the middle of the world.
We profess the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience and because of our particular characteristics we must emphasize the living out of charity in service and obedience, expressed in our availability for the mission, as a manifestation of God's will.
